One of our Mental Health Specialists, Mr. Shearer, came to Tekoa Academy for a suicidal prevention presentation with 6th-8th grade, thanks to our Site Coordinator there, Ms. Jones. The students learned valuable information on how to seek help for others and were made aware of the signs that lead to becoming suicidal. Prizes were awarded throughout the presentation.
